We recently worked with Maybelline on an activation that was to go live during London Fashion Week in February. Maybelline have recently rebranded, with a brand new strapline #DareToGoNude and they needed a totally new and different digital photo booth experience.
We provided the dreamMirror – our newest piece of technology – a photo booth which is completely concealed behind a mirror. The concept of the Mirror photo booth has been bubbling away for some time at Noonah HQ . It has taken us over a year to research and make sure that it would work perfectly for our new and existing clients. This was the perfect event to make one of its first debuts on the event scene.
The Mirror Photo Booth incorporates a concealed digital screen which we customised so it was on brand and incorporated Maybelline’s newest logos and designs. Rather than using an ornate gold frame surround (which comes as part of the standard package) we custom built a sleek black frame to match their blush pink and black colour palette.
On site we provided an event manager and a brand ambassador to run the Mirror during the 4 day event. Guests got the chance to have their make-up done during the shows by one of the MUA’s on the Maybelline stand and then they got to take the perfect posed shot of the final makeover on our Mirror Booth. We actively encouraged the guests to share to share their photo to social media and email via our social sharing stand. Not only that but the guest also received their branded photo as a memento and reminder of the event.
Because the Mirror booth was on brand and fit the brief, guests and clients loved it. They could not quite believe that it was actually a glass mirror and a photo booth all in one, giving a real fun surprise and a lasting impression. Guests at an event want to see something new and innovative. And the customised dreamMirror provided exactly that.
